Bracebridge Heath Police Station

The project consisted of an extension and refurbishment of the existing police station at Bracebridge Heath.

The project was delivered to a high-quality interior finish, on time and on budget. Special attention had to be paid to the specialist acoustic properties and technical features of the interview room.

A specialist asbestos strip was undertaken during the first 2 weeks of the project, all operative were asbestos awareness trained, toolbox talks were given during the project and the dangers of potentially uncovering more asbestos.

The brickwork, joinery and groundworks packages were all undertaken using direct labour.

As with Lincolnshire Police projects, security, confidentiality, and control of the documents had to be of the highest standards.
