C Block – Grimsby Institute

The works consisted of re-cladding and provision of new windows to 2no elevations of the existing library and SMT Block, along with various internal alterations and remodelling.

The works were carried out whilst the institute was live, occupied and sitting examinations. The programme was time driven and the logistics of what we could do and where we could do it were the subject of weekly internal meeting to agree what could be achieved on a weekly basis, but also keeping to programme whilst maintaining safety and the smooth running of the college.

The result is a stunning new façade which the Institute now plans to carry out to all other elevations.
